HELP! 640XL won't update since build 10512.1000

Hi. So I installed Windows 10 Mobile when build 10512.1000 came out, after that I kinda forget to update my phone... I've tried to update my phone multiple times but it always said that I didn't have enough memory. My phone needed over 1gb to update sometimes, 700mb etc and right now it's at 650mb. Even though i have enough storage I still can't update. I can't update via the UpdateAdvisor either and the Insider app says that there is an update in progress.. Help me please!

Hard reset and try if that doesn't work roll back to 8.1 and upgrade

Isn't there any oher solution? If I hard reset I will lose a lot of important whatsapp messages..

Whatsapp makes backup automatically so when you install it again it will ask you to recover messages. You can also take a screenshot of messages

To back it up manually go to whatsapp settings click on chats and calls and there you will find backup button

Thanks! Didn't know about that! Do you know how all of my app will get installed if I back up my phone? (I have been with WP for over 2 years and I've never done this..) Also will my contacts be there/ (outlook contacts), my pictures and start screen?

Btw do you have any expierence with the whatsapp back up? Will exactly all my chats get restored and pictures?

Yes everything and if you want your apps and start screen, contacts etc. updated you have backup option in settings.

Thanks. Is there also any way to downgrade to 8.1 and not plugging your phone into your pc? My pc doesn't recognize my phone when i plugg it in..

Nevermind, I just used another charger and it worked.

Do you think it's smarter to downgrade to 8.1 and then update via the UpdateAdvisor OR insider app? Or should I just do a hard reset and update the phone without downgrading?

And; How will all my apps on my SD-Card be back on there?

Someone please help... My phone can't do a hard reset, when it's done it only shows a '' and then reboot and go back to the hard reset screen... What do I do now?!

hey ill help right have you got the windows recovery tool? if so connect your phone to pc and run that this will then unstall your software =]
