Help!!! I can't update my lumia 900 to windows 7.8 :(

Whenever I connect my lumia 900 to zune and I see if there any available updates it always say its up to date so I can't install 7.8
And on my phone there isn't a popup showing there's a system upgrade available when I know there is please help me whats wrong with my phone?

Have you tried the Zune trick explained here? http://www.windowscentral.com/force-mango-update-early-through-zune-software-and-avoid-frostbite

It worked for a lot of people to install 7.8 also.

I have the same problem, i have lumia at&t 900, i unlocked it in russia and working great. but i got no update from zune. any one help please... i changed the region but still no update showing.

Try the cab updater from xda-developer.com, works great and gives you legit cabs from Microsoft

I've also tried several times, using the cable trick as well. I don't have it hooked up to a network cable, but rather just disconnected my WiFi. Anyhow, nothing has worked. Can anyone help? I am in the U.S. My Lumia is AT&T branded, however I've recently switched over to Straight Talk.

The 7.8 update was halted. It has now started again, but the updated 7.8 for the ATT version of the 900 has yet to be released. Give it time.

People were having problems with Live Tiles failing to update.

That's kinda good to hear. Well at least I can chill out on that cable trick for a while.

Its just 2 less than 1mb cabs to update to 8862 from 8860, download it and push it to your phone using the cab updater and that's it

I very much want to go back to using my L900 but still waiting for 7.8... very frustrated it has not been released by att yet. I use a iphone 4s and a gs3.. iphone is boring and my gs3 is very buggy...

It was released WEEKS ago, wtf are you talking about? They pulled it because of the tile issue and it's currently being tested to make sure it was fixed. If my math is correct it will show up on Navifirm next week and Zune the following tues-wed.

I know this thread hasn't been posted in for about a month, but there's a new update to 8862 up on the Nokia servers for the AT&T 900. That usually means Zune/Windows Phone for Mac app should have it going out soon.

The newer version is as follows:

Give it a little bit. Since the update is on the Nokia server it should be out soon. That's how it usually works.

I just wish it was better expressed to the community about what was going on. Then instead of speculation we would know the dates of release and I would feel great about waiting.
