Help keep me on Windows and Microsoft Services!

I am currently debating going all in on Microsoft, but have two big problems that don't seem to be fixing themselves.

1st: The photos App does not seem to be retro-actively going through my old photos and creating albums. Nor does it create albums when taken on my windows 10 mobile devices (only android)

2nd: My groove playlist does not seem to be populating.

This is incredibly frustrating, and tips and suggestions would be much appreciated.

for the second one, by populating you mean when you add new songs,the app does not recognise that new songs have been added?
