Help Needed!! I did an update without enough memory and now the phone is stuck. What should I do?

Help Needed!!

Guys, my mom has a lumia 630 and there were notifications for a critical update. So, unknowingly I downloaded the update without keeping in mind that the free phone memory is low. Now, the phone has rebooted and the GEARS are running(the update). But it has been over an hour now, the status bar hasn't moved an inch. I try restarting the phone but the update seems to load every time.

Just backup whatever you can find on SD card to PC, if you're lucky you can copy some data on phone over to PC and hard reset if nothing works. I know hard reset can wipe your device since you've performed soft reset which didn't solve your issue. Wait for some time, till someone who's more knowledge about getting data off your device which is stuck at applying updates.
