Help, synch google map favorites to win phone??

I just moved from an android and it was real easy to add places to a favorite map on the computer, and those favorites would pop up on my android phone, but I cant figure out how to do this on my windows phone. Under my gmail account sync options, maps is not listed. In the google maps on the phone, in settings I can sign into my account, but only a nokia account which won't help.
Any ideas?
Would I have to make a nokia account, import my maps from google (on the pc) for them to push to my phone?

Google does not offer their services for Windows Phone (officially). So there is no official Google Maps app (along with many others like YouTube).

You may wanna try a 3rd party app like gMaps (in the description it says this app supports favorites).

But I have never used this app, so I can't say for sure. Just a tip.
