[Help] Waze crashing?

Waze crashed on opening for me multiple times when trying to start on my way home. Phone re-start didn't help.

Anyone else?

Being a Google product now it doesn't surprise me as it's unsupported. Check out Inrix Traffic and see how that works for you.

I know this is an old post, but I am having the same issue. Found a temp-fix solution. If you go into settings and toggle "avoid freeways" on, you should be able to get your location selected and it will pull up a route. Then you can go back to settings and turn "avoid freeways" off and it will continue recalculating as it would in normal use. Not ideal, but for a bad commute - may be worth it.

It is funny though, my issue is hit and miss. My commute to work and back never changes, yet some days it pulls up fine, and others it crashes. I have noticed a higher frequency of crashes if I am in an unknown location, e.g. a large parking lot of my new office building.
