Help with contacts

This is one of my earliest problems when I had my phone and I actually forgot about it until it bothered me again. I was an android user before and when I shifted to wp, I used transfer my data for the contacts. The problem is when I go to People Hub, I can't see any of my contacts. Names only appear when I do a search. I want to see a list of my contacts when I open People hub. Any ideas?

Go to People hub>Settings>filter my contacts list and select the required checkboxes. Alternatively, it may have been migrated to the sim card. In that case select the desired contacts in the "import contacts from SIM card" option.

All this time I've been ignoring the filter thing because there's only hotmail and google as options. I never knew contacts were imported in my hotmail when I did the transfer. Thanks!
