Here apps draining my battery even after closing them?

The battery on my Lumia 930 is fantastic, but I've noticed that whenever I use any of the Here apps, the battery starts to drain very quickly. More strangely, it keeps on draining even after closing them through the open apps window.

The only way to bring it back to normal is to switch the device off and on again.

Anybody noticed that?

Is it set to run in the Background? Check Battery Saver app.

If so it's likely the GPS always on in the background.

I have noticed this happens when you use the fast close method. Avoid doing this but keep going Back, Back, Back, ... until it closes. Other apps also seem to leave orphan tasks running when fast-closed.
