Hi I just installed preview for developers on my nokia lumia 920, it has lumia black on it already but just used the preview for developers and activated it and chcked for updates and says I have a update available. Is this the Windows phone 8.1 preview? Please can you let me know. Thanks

It's just a finalized version for developers who participated in the gdr3 preview. You don't have to download it but it probably won't hurt.

yeah can download it ..but i dont see a point as you will be getting a new update again in 10 days ie 8.1 .so just pass it and wait for 8.1 nothing big in this update just bug fixes...

Either you'll install it now or you'll install it later. The updates on WP are sequential. The next one won't install before installing prior ones that are not yet installed.

What happens to the Nokia Black functionality (i.e. Glance) when installing the 8.1 dev. edition? Anyone got any experience with that, maybe with earlier versions? tnx alot!
