My Lumia 540 does not open any app that comes with the phone, just some with internet... Also it don't install any updates or new apps... I tried to do the light reset, but didn't work... How do I do something to fix it without losing my contacts and photos, because I can't open to see my contact list or my pictures... Please, help me if is possible...

Hello Andrea and Welcome to the forums.

First of all have you connected a Microsoft Account to your phone?

If so and when adding contacts choosing this account will keep your contacts in sync - you can access your contact list here:
https://people.live.com/

Secondly, have you tried connecting your phone to a computer via the usb cable?
You should be able to copy off all the photos, documents, music, videos (recorded videos are stored in the camera roll located in Pictures along with received videos whatsapp videos would be under Whatsapp in the Pictures folder), Ringtones and any self created folders.

In regards to the apps not opening, did you by chance set apps to install to on a micro sd card?

Contacts should be stored in the cloud.

Pictures may be retrieved by plugging into USB on a PC and copying the files over.

Then in settings, make a backup then reset your phone. You don't say if you are on 8.1 or W10M so the paths would be different.

I think a factory reset might put you back on track.

I'll have to agree with the other guys. I would try and sort your MS account as well. If you phone throws a wobbler your apps etc can be restored. Also any paid apps are verified should your phone need resetting.
