I loaded a HTC home customizer that lets you easily set up your today page with lots of cool colors, new icons and extra buttons. This is an easy install and easy user interface. This is my first winmo device and I was able to do it. No manual registry changes required. It even lets you back up and restore so if you dont like the changes you make you can go right back to the original. Here's the link to the posting with the info and files if you want to give it a try. If you have the Sprint Touch like me, then the only file you need is at the bottom of post number 1 (HHCv08b.zip)

I just purchased a Sprint Touch and I am new to smart phones. Could you walk me through the install process for the HTC Home Customizer? Did you sync the zip file to the Touch or unzip on your PC and then sync...etc?

the easiest way is to unzip on your pc. sync the .cab to your touch. i put it on my card and then run it. you then have a program called hhc. start that up and will allow you easily change your today page.

oh wow that's world's better than the plain jane HTC home screen i was using. How's the performance on it?
