Home screen disappeared in NL920

I am unable to access my home screen in my Nokia L920. Pressing the winodws button takes to the app list screen.
Did anyone have this problem.

Hold the power button and volume down button till the phone vibrates and reboot.

That happens if you clear your home screen. Press and hold on an app in the app drawer and pin it to start, see if it comes back.
