Hope Microsoft doesn't abandon Windows Phone 8 like the Zune

This is not going to happen, they have bet all in for this entire ecosystem. It would be stupid to drop the support. And not mention its becoming a real threat to Google/Apple. More consumer are adapting and loving the change. They still haven't put their final card on the table, which is to connect all three OS Xbox, WP and Windows in a way that you get benefit for owning all of them. Right now I see lot of people using Android/iOS devices with while using windows PC. This needs to change, they need lot more convincing reason for people to own WP if they own Windows PC or Xbox. And they are just doing that, its finally paying off and everything is coming together. Absolutely no reason to drop support now.
