Hotmail causing battery drain?

I am one of the few people who did not switch to outlook when it launched. So, being stuck on Hotmail, I have that connected to my Microsoft account. Could this possibly be leading to battery drain because the server doesn't technically exist anymore?

The fact that the account is called Hotmail/Live instead of Outlook.com makes no difference. I never changed mine, and even the web-based interface looks the same.

I have mix of 7 Exchange, Outlook, Live & Hotmail accounts syncing on my 920 - all with PIM, Calendar and email and all on schedules and I have not noticed any additional battery drain. it will last me 10 - 12 hours off the charger with light to moderate use.

no difference at all. I edited my post. I never changed mine, and it looks exactly the same. In fact for awhile Microsoft wouldn't even let people rename their accounts from Hotmail/Live to Outlook.com.
