okay so about a month back I was seriously considering to switch to android...main reason was limitations of my phone which is lumia 720...but today I saw 1520 and 1320 for the first time...and I loved both..but here in india I cant buy phones on contract and 1520 costs almost double than 1320....well honestly I cant afford 1520...but I got really impressed by 1320...I know I have to compromise on camera and somewhat on build quality...but still I am in awe of that 6 inch screen...I just need your suggestions ..user reviews and advise on 1320...should I buy it...inbuilt storage is an issue too...but I hope that wp 8.1 ll resolve this...I just need a push I guess....and my 6 months old 720 is in great condition and I am thinking about gifting it away to my sister who is using a featured phone only...and I am just looking for a phone for max one year...so what you guys say ???

What are you most considering about? Only the big screen? Or the proecessor? Or the camera(really?) i think you keep your 720 and buy the device with different OS.

basically I just need a change...I do love huge screens...camera I can compromise...I just need a new phone....and yeah that 1 gb ram ll give me so much more I guess....

I have Lumia 1320. Its a great phone. I had a Lumia 520 and wanted to get red of it cause it had 512MB RAM which didn't support couple of games and went with the intention of buying Lumia 525. However when I got to the store and saw the Lumia 1520 & Lumia 1320 I went crazy about the 6" screen.

My case was the same as yours, as I couldn't afford the Lumia 1520, I bought the Lumia 1320. Its a great phone, here are the key features :
1) 1.7 GHz Dual Core processor
2) 1 GB RAM
3) 6" Gorilla screen
4) Battery life is also very good

Yes as you rightly said Camera is a compromise as its 5 MP, but hey I was not that interested in a Camera so for me not a big deal. But trust me the look and feel of apps and games on a 6" screen gives a different experience all together.

Well, save your money and then buy 1520. Not 1320...
well i can do that but then i have to wait for at least four months and after that i would have to stick with it for 2 years...i don't see myself doing this...i always buy mid range phones and change them frequently....i ll change my 1320 within a year with something new available that time...and still wont lose much money...cant really go for another platform...don't like android at all....

I have a feeling that the 1320 would be one of those phones that would hold its value over time, especially because of that massive screen - great battery life combo. Go ahead and get it - the next person who gets it would be more than satisfied with the battery life.

As for the color, if you're into monochrome colors, white is your best choice. Otherwise, red is the way to go.

can you please tell me what colors are in glossy finish and what are with matte finish ??
At the Nokia store I got to see the Orange, Black and Yellow handsets. All of them were Matt finish. I don't think any of the colors come in glossy finish.

here they don't let you see the phone...one of the rep had the black one...but i am going for white...within half an hour it would be in my hands...excited as hell...thank you....

Got it in white...its amazing....720 feels so tiny now....i am happy with the camera too...ll manage the storage coz i am not a gamer....

Congrats on your new phone mate. Any phone less than 6" will feel small now once you have used this. Enjoy fiddling around with the new beast. Have fun ! :)
