Manual Installation of Apps

I have downloaded apps (.xap files) from windowsphone.com to my PC and shifted these file to SD card installed in my lumia 625 phone. I have installed some of these apps manually by "Install local apps", but some of the apps are not accessible. Why some apps are accessible and some are not? Can some body reply.

Can you provide one example of an app that was not available through the Install Local Apps option?
