How can I get my Lumia 630 to turn off?

Lumia 630 doesnt turn on at all

Hi, i have a lumia 630 that i recently installed the win 10 preview on and the phone worked properly for a day, but now it wont start up. i tried resetting it by holding down the power + volume down buttons but nothing helps. i tried plugging into a computer but nothing shows up. the phone doesnt vibrate or light up at all. i thought it was maybe the battery, so i swapped batteries with another lumia 630 and now the other phone doesnt turn on either. please help. thank you!

Dumb question, but are you sure the battery's been charged/plugged in for an hour or two?
