How can I make pinned URL shortcuts show pictures in WP10?

In WP8.1 when I pinned a website-link to the start screen, the tile showed a picture of the site. This was attractive and made things easy. This doesn't seem to happen in WP10. Is there any way I can fix it, so that my shortcuts look better on the screen?

This used to be the case on WP10 also, but I noticed a little while back this is no longer so. Apparently that functionality was broken by an update, at least on my Lumia 640
