How can I remove xbox from my Lumia 535?

I just do not want it as it tries to take over my music files. I much prefer to use Music Player.

Can it be disabled, or preferably removed as I wont be buying any music from them.

What sync settings are you using in Xbox settings?
Can't remove it, just don't use it

It's one of the apps that can't be removed. What do you mean by taking over your music? Don't they open with Groove and other music players only?

Panic over! It was set to auto synch which I suppose is the default, now turned synch off. I get a bit ratty when Microsoft keep asking for account logins and sticking stuff on the screen about buying!
