How can I reset the camera (Lumia 520)?

Reset Camera (Lumia 520)

Hi guys,

My camera on my Lumia 520 hasn't been working properly for the past few days, when I open it up it's very dark and I can only very faintly see stuff on it, I've cleaned the lenses but didn't work Also when I try to reset the camera nothing happens, I tap the 'reset camera' icon and nothing happens? What could be the issue?

Reset the phone instead of the camera (if you don't know how, register and we'll help out). If resetting the phone doesn't help we can assume that it's hardware related.

Next to resetting the phone, you can also download a third party camera app and check if it's still the same
