How can I stop my i5 Surface Pro from over heating?

Any more info!!

The only time my i5 SP3 overheats is when a process decides to cane the processor. Chrome was a regular culprit until I binned it.

Depends on how technical you are but a reboot ( click 'restart' from the home screen) should solve it if not.
