How can I use two monitors?

How to use two screens

I use windows 10.
As an engine I have a laptop [brand name LEADER]

I also have an HP monitor

I know that I can go to control panel followed by appearances followed by project to a second screen.

What I do not know if it is possible to hold an image steady on one sceen, [say a diagram or map etc] and still navigate through a program on the other?

Can you please advise

Go to Settings > System > Display > Detect to set up a dual monitor configuration.

It should do everything you are asking (independent display of Windows).
