How difficult would it be for MS to change the contacts pictures back to squares?

I really am trying to like/get used to the circles, but so far it's not happening. How hard would it be for MS to change them back to squares? Would it be just a simple cosmetic change or is it much more in-depth? And what do you think the chances of them doing that (if enough people complain enough) kind of update are?

As a developer, I don't think it would be too difficult to change back, as it is a cosmetic change.

However, I do imagine whoever makes that change at Microsoft could be in danger of losing a job, as I don't think Microsoft is likely to approve the change. My opinion. I don't work for Microsoft and can't actually say for certain.
