how to capture a full resolution photo on the Lumia 930?

when I zoom in, it feels like a 5MP camera, don't know why?

That's because it saves a 5mp 'compressed' and a full resolution photo. The smaller size is for sharing, the larger for reframing, editing etc

Also, when you zoom in while taking a photo you get lossless zoom thanks to the mp count.
