How do I change/delete imported Facebook avatar photo on the phone?

My Facebook avatar / square on my phone went from the blue Facebook logo to suddenly importing and using the background picture I have on my FB page. I do not want that. I've delete that FB picture and replaced it with just "black" but still the phone is displaying that old background photo. I've pinned and unpinned and it's still there. I've turned the phone off and on. It's still there. How do I get rid of it ? Thanks.

Yeah I did, thanks, but now instead of my FB background the "Pinned" FB app is showing random backgrounds of FB posts on my feed. WTF!!! Apparently from what I have read there is nothing you can do. You can't even keep the pinned app looking blue with the FB logo. So I just "unpinned" the stupid thing cuz I don't wanna see some avatar sized, random FB page every time I open the phone. That's really annoying.
