How do I get Cortana to Stop Notifying Me of new Texts?

Cortana tells me when I have a new text and asks if I want to read or ignore it and she'll read it for me in her sweet-sounding voice. Cool feature and I think they should keep it, but at the moment it pauses my music and doesn't resume it regardless of whether I opt to ignore the text, let her read it or just swipe up on the text notification so it disappears. As a result I have to manually go into Groove and hit play every time I get a text.

Is there a way to disable this functionality for now until this is resolved? I don't want to have to blame Microsoft for not being super RIPPED because Cortana is interrupting my workouts.

In Cortana's settings (under notebook tab) uncheck the box that allows cortana to read to you.

Thanks! It's cool that you can choose under which scenarios you want it enabled. When the kinks are ironed out I'd probably only want it for bluetooth so I don't get hit by a car trying to read an "LOL" text from my girl.
