How do I get rid of the sad face when my phone starts up?

Physical button push Hard Reset is the best method for dealing with the known issue of Sad Face. http://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/ho...reset-my-phone

It's a borked bootup sector. If the image on the phone is also corrupt, use LSRT and the "won't boot" option.
