How do I get the real keyboard activated during a call?

I have a Nokia Lumia 925 and I need to be able to key letters for information during a call, but I can't find a way to do it.

Linda... Is it like entering a party's name to get their extension?

The phone system is not going to "hear" letters off the keyboard. You have to use the letters on the number pad.

Press the Windows (Start) Button


Then open an App like Word that will let you take notes with the qwerty keyboard.
