How do I link my contacts to Facebook?

Lumia 930: Linking contacts to facebook.

One of my favourite features on my Lumia 900 was the ability to link a contact to their Facebook profile so all information on someone was in one place. I could then also swap between Facebook chat and text in messaging.

I don't seem to be able to do this on my Lumia 900, am I missing something?

The Lumia 900 ran the Windows Phone 7.5, but you still should be able to link contacts in your Lumia 930 with Windows Phone 8.1. (You're referring to your Lumia 930, right?) Just go to your People Hub, select a contact then tap on the chain icon on the menu at the bottom. This will bring you to a page where you can "choose a contact" you want to link to your chosen contact. I have linked up to five contacts (same name, different accounts) this way.

Additionally, when your contacts use names that are similar enough, if not exactly the same, with your phone book entry, they are automatically linked in your People Hub.
