How do I remove Cortana from my phone?

Anyway yuh, just change ur region to unsupported regions.

And if that country receives Cortana? And if you want to keep your own country?
Why on Earth should you change country, just switch off Cortana from Settings.

The voice for other applications should be just an issue he had, for me works just fine.

Because he meant to want to erase cortana entirely. If u just switch off, the icon would still be in the apps list.

Not sure but moving the date ahead about 50 years could help to remove the app completely

and why on earth do you swap your phone with someone else just because it have and app that you can disable?

No he means.. He wants the phone to read the text out loud.. We had this on 8.0 but it wasn't present on 8.1 afaik
