Once I upgraded my 1520 to Cyan I now have these stock photos from Microsoft that clutter up my live tile. However, they are no where to be found in the photo app. Does anyone know where they are and how I can delete them?

Wish that worked, but I don't see any system folders. Just the basic Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures, Ringtones and Videos. No sub folders called "8" at all, and no sub folders that I haven't created myself. My PC does allow me to see hidden files and folders, but not system folders appear.

Are you talking about the photos under settings where you can select them for your background on 8.1? You can hide those by choosing to display only certain groups of photos (including those you deem as favorites). I had to do that after Update 1 of 8.1 on developer preview. It was annoying seeing those pics showing in my picture tile.

Yes and no....meaning no I wasn't. but upon reading your message yes I was.

Thanks for responding as it made me look at the Live Tile settings for photos and it was set to favorites....and I have no favorite images so it was defaulting to that Backgrounds folder shown in background photo choices. As soon as I changed to single photo the problem went away.
