How do I retrieve pictures?

I have a photograph set as the "lock screen" on my Surface Pro 2 device from a few months back and unfortunately the original copy was accidentally deleted from the device. Right now I can see the photo still on the lock screen but no where in my files. So I am wondering if somewhere on the computer in the temporary files (or elsewhere) I can find this photograph now? I really like this photo and I have not changed my lock screen in over a year out of fear of loosing it.

A good start would be to go to
Charms
Settings
Change PC settings

It should show the pic there. Click on it then click the "Browse" button and see if you can still browse to it.
