How do I take Macro Shots with the 1520 ?

It's close up if you're using Microsoft Camera.

I highly recommend using ProShot for macros. Here is why!

1. You can have very fine manual focus. Better than Nokia app
2. Set sharpness to +2 to emphasize detail
3. Can export high resolution image and edit with this directly on the phone.

I've been taking pictures with the Nokia App, never knew there was a Microsoft Camera App. I suppose I'll have to buy ProShot. That is a nice flower close up shot, I would have liked to see an extreme close up, in the middle of the flower !

Microsoft camera is already on your phone. It's included in the OS. Just look for Camera. But I rarely use it. Nokia camera and Proshot are superior in quality

I am really loving the live image type recreating effect the Nokia camera does. Such a cool concept since I am new to WP and really like the storyteller app and how it puts it together.

I'm going to say ProShot is better then Nokia Camera !

Can you explain when you say "better"? Like does it make the camera take better pictures or it just gives you better options for manual adjustment?

I am new to WP and impressed by this phone's ability but curious about this Pro Shot.

Better options for manual adjustment, particularly when using Photoshop which I have spent a great deal of time mastering.

Thank you for that clarification. I am not that gifted in photo editing but every site I visit is enamored regarding the greatness of ProShot so I definitely will look into it.
