How do I turn down the sensitivity to the lock screen button?

The lock screen button is too sensitive and the switch off pull down page comes up each time.

The lock screen button is too sensitive and the switch off pull down page comes up even if the lock button is not touched. I've been facing this problem since a week now! I have tried to restart my phone, but that was not helpful. Please help! This has become very very frustrating.

Is the case (battery cover) removable? If yes, remove it and see if there is anything stuck in there...

​Either way, your next step is Factory Reset. Run a backup first so you can restore as much as possible. After that seek repair or warranty replacement. Chances are this is physical and not software - Factory Reset will help rule out software.

yea remove the cover and the case if there is one, if factory reset doesn't fix it, try slapping it a few times until it works as intended, very likely it is a hardware problem
