How do I use Cortana in Lumia 535?

I have tried downloading the English-UK speech language, but it says "couldn't download...".

Make sure that you have internet connectivity and try again.. for me it took3-4 days to download the language pack and cortana is working.

I think set your region to US, language to US and speech to US. Should be able to use Cortana, it worked for me on 8.1 Denim. Since then i've been trying the Technical Previews, the last 2 builds couldn't get Cortana to work. Although the features are interesting, it's just now ready to be a daily driver.
