Hey Guys,
Microsoft has given us the awesome multilingual tool kit. It takes care of App manifest and also manages Rex files with XLF files. But the translation suggestions suck !! They are really really bad. I use Google Translate, its better than Bing translator in my opinion.
Like to know what you guys use ?

You can offer a site for users of your app to provide translations in their native tongue and then you can moderate them and confirm them afterwards, that's the free way - or you can hire someone to translate strings for you.

I also use Google translate, the problem is when you want to translate to chinese or something similar, you don't actually know if the translation y accurate... so asking somebody to confirm the translation maybe is the best (and cheaper) way to go,

Someone on Reddit suggest me to try ackuna.com but I haven't tried it out.
But I think it's worthwhile to be checked out.

I would very much recommend gengo.com - it's not free, but it's only $0.05 per word and you get a quality translation done by a human!

Mind you, I am not affiliated with them in any way, but have used them once and very satisfied, even with support for a couple of very very specific additional translations.

I would never use an app that was translated with Google or Bing.

I can easily recommend gengo.com - it's not free, but it's only $0.05 per word, which is very cheap, even compared to Google and Bing - you should not underestimate the time waste of dealing with errors in automated translators.

I think it is a good thing to have a feedback system like uservoice or something else, where you can get it touch with users. In my experience, they will offer to translate the app themselves. It depends on what kind of app it is of course.
