How do you limit apps running in the background?

I can't seem to find the right setting.

i installed the AccuWeather app and I didn't want the MSN weather app also running in the background.

Thanks for any comments.

Go to the battery saver app.
There you can enable/disable background tasks.

Or just delete the app you do not use.
