The way is entirely different with WP8.0, but I still don't figure out how to create a cursor properly between alphabets. Any buddy know the trick? Thanks.

Long press and hold the word into which you want to insert the cursor . Then a cursor will appear . Dont remove your finger and drag and drop the cursor at required position .

Thanks buddy. But this method seems just work in WP8.0

Anyway, I just finally find out the trick. After long press, the cursor with a bottom circle will appear. Drag and drop the "bottom circle" at required position. :-D

I personally hate the "new' way. Every time I lift my finger off the screen the cursor moves left or right from where I put it. I now just select the entire word, and hit the backspace till I get the cursor where I want it, then re-type what was deleted :(

I feel the same. Under a small screen, it's pretty hard to drag and drop the small bottom circle.
