How does the screen brightness work with new update??

When i use the phone during very strong sunlight, it's very hard to see what on the screen
I think they mention about fixing this problem in new update. How could i turn that option on?

Go to Settings > display+touch and turn sunlight readability on, that ups the contrast when the light sensor detects a very high light level (i.e. sunlight)

Additionally, make sure brightness is set to auto. Auto allows the screen to go brighter than the high setting when in sunlight
