Re: how is battery life in mobile build 10166 ?

It's not running hot when it just sits in my pocket on standby, so it must be better. I'll see this coming week. I removed all the previous builds after a couple of hours, but I'm keeping this one.

battery life is comparable to 10149 drains very fast with internet connection or just playing around with the phone, least twice worse than 8.1

There is a issue of missing keyboard when I rotate my L1320 sideways. Anyone having this issue. I'm on windows mobile 10 build 10166

On my 830 battery life seems to be pretty much the same on build 10166 as it was on WP8.1.

It works fine for me in Messaging and Outlook, L1520, hard reset, no backup.

Battery life after install/no reset was the same as previous build,
Did a reset and restore from 166 backup, and it has improved dramatically, still tanks hard under heavy use however.

After reset did you have any missing settings, trouble downloading language and speech packs or any other bugs not present before hard reset? I have had all these problems in previous builds so am reluctant to do a hard reset even though i know it can improve build performance

Battery life was good for me - Lumia 1520. Installed the OS and did a hard reset with no backup

Re: how is battery life in mobile build 10166 ?

Battery life is realistic. Its not bad. My phone lasts about 11 hours on medium use before the next charge I use an 830 not better than 8.1 but its good. Also, I suggest giving your phone tine to settle into the new os. Battery life always improves after like two to three days.

Seems better on HTC One. At 78% now since 7:30 a.m. and lately with similar usage have bee 50% or less.

Re: how is battery life in mobile build 10166 ?

I'm a bit skeptical about huge improved performance. Some of the apps I can't install and phone functionality is reduced. Still, the build is kinda slick... when it works.., and W10 has character and direction ... So thumbs up...
