How long does it take you to charge?

I have literally everything turned off and I am in airplane mode, and it is taking me about 8 minutes to charge every one percent. I really believe this should be no where near the case. What are some of your charging times? And any advice on how to conserve battery or faster charge?

mine takes about 2 hours, sometimes the last few percent takes half an hour more

Are you charging via USB? That would explain it

Assume Pheno is referring to USB out of a computer rather than using the provided HTC adapter. Not USB vs wireless charging at the phone.
