How make a "backup" of my current WP8

Hi
How can I make a "backup" of my current WP8? I might soon reset my phone and I want to get the same apps, settings and so forth when I do so.
Is there somewhere in settings that I just haven't figured out?

Settings > backup > apps + settings > backup now
It backs up to your OneDrive, so you'll need a fast connection.

Just be make it clear.
With the first reply you get a back up from your "same apps, settings".
But be aware that this not includes "and so forth".
Pictures, music, files etc are not included.
These have to be backup on OneDrive or your pc.

Also, I believe WP8 lacked the ability to save app settings, high scores, etc.(not that many apps in WP8.1 have that ability, but they can) so you'll lose those on a reset as well.

Indeed, very few have taken advantage of the 8.1 feature to save app data so unless the game has an online saving feature or it's XBOX Live integrated, you will lose all your progress. Hence why I stopped playing Angry Birds (but I still downloaded Stella, lol).

Other things that will NOT get backed up:-
Bluetooth pairings
Wifi Access points and passcodes
Alarms

How about text messages? Can they be backed up?

How about text messages? Can they be backed up?

Go to settings > back up > text messages > text message backup ON.

But be aware if you delete a text message on your phone it will also be deleted on in the backup.
