Someone asked me how much bigger the Icon is compared to the 928. He didn't want a phone much bigger than the 928. Here are a couple pictures to show the comparison. My opinion, having now had both - don't even think about the size difference. It's not worth mentioning.

This is the 928 on top of the Icon. The bottom and left sides are lined up, though the angle of the camera doesn't make it appear so. Please forgive the image quality - the pictures were taken with a Galaxy S5. No, I am not making that up. When you want a picture of both of your Windows Phones, you go to a coworker with the "best" phone out there (his opinion, not mine).

Specs are as follows:
Size
928 - 133 x 68.9 x 10.1 mm
Icon - 137 x 71 x 10 mm

Resolution:
928 - 768 x 1280 pixels
Icon - 1080 x 1920 pixels

If it were just on screen size I don't know if I would update my 928, however, the slightly bigger screen and resolution, combined with the processor and memory to me make it a no brainer upgrade for my 928. Glad Verizon got it first...

I just wish the Icon had the xenon flash. That's the only thing the 928 has on it.

I hope the Goldfinger would be 4.5" with a listening chip for Cortana and an improved camera that of 1020, running on the latest Qualcomm snapdragon chips (805 or better.)
