How much space do you use?

So I know that atleast with Android,8gb of storage should be enough for most/all apps.
Does this phone use up a lot data on apps and can they be put on the sd card?

I'm not sure weather to get a 32gb or 64gb micro sd.
If WP8 can hold all the apps nicely in the phones storage then I will get the 32gb.
I will have roughly 25gb of music and leave 5gbs for recordings/videos/pictures.

So will WP8s 8gb/7gb be enough for apps only?

oh wait I have some FLACs on my PC,so I will down-convert to 320 nvm.

Apps and Games cannot be stored on SD Cards at this time, you can install XAP files (Apps/Games) from SD but they will still install onto the phone.

You can only put documents, music, videos, photos on SD Cards. You can also put Here Maps on SD Card with Lumia Storage Beta App.

I am 20!
hmm I actually have 45gbs!
Keep in mind some is in FLAC,which I assume the stock music app for WP8 does not play.
So maybe 30gb downconverted.

Also I do have some songs that I hardly listen to,but keep them just in case I have the urge to listen to them again.
So I have maybe 10gb of music I actually listen to consistently.

40gigs of music..
36gig of podcasts..
Not even a 64gb card could hold it all,

I just change out music or podcasts everyday since I do not have a sdcard to play with yet.

I have an 8G SD card in my 521. I don't do games on my phone, so its probably light. Here is my breakdown:

Phone using 4.42G of 7.23G available. SD has 2.29G on it of 7.23G available.


46 Apps
1.84 MB pics
667 MB apps
1.8 GB Other
1.96 GB system

on card:
1.96 GB of music (I mostly listen to the mixes that come over the WiFi)
128 MB pics
190 MB other

I have around 60 GB of music on my computer -- though I will say that most of it is encoded between 192 and 256 kbps. I have about 20 GB of music on the SD card in my phone, and I have Here maps are on the SD card. I think I have one game on my phone currently, I have almost 4 GB of storage left on my 520.

I have a 64gb Scandisk micro SD card. I have only 18GB of music and have photos too. I running out of space for apps on my internal storage. I'm just hope that 8.1 release lets you store apps in the SD card like Android is able to do. The difference in price for SD is only $20-25 between the 32 and 64GBs. I purchased mine at Costco. That nothing these days! Go with the large 64GB. Everyone likes more storage and it can be move to another device in the future.

Damn a 128gb card!
I'm guessing $100+ easy!

I have a cowon J3 mp3 with 64gbs,so I just bought the 32gb for $22.00.
32gb for my phone should be fine.
If I really need more than 64gb for a portable music player I will buy something else.
32gb should be enough for my music.
It's not like a actually listen to all the music on the device!

128sd card would be nice, but, going to expensive if 64gb are running for about 75, a 128 would be about 150. I would rather just get a 32gb SD Card and another HD for pc.
