How to block Microsoft texts?

At some point in the early setup process I must have said OK to Microsoft texting its market crap to my phone. I would like to stop these texts, not only because they're annoying but because they arrive at all hours, and have woken me up which passes way beyond annoying into infuriating. How can I tell Microsoft it's no longer okay to text me? Thanks.

Probably by replying with STOP

Have tried replying with "STOP" That stops most other alert texts. I've done it a few times to other text feeds I have received.
