How to change online status on facebook?

Since there is no integration of facebook in messaging how can I change the online status on facebook, do I always appear online?

no , that's completely removed in wp8.1 , so you will appear offline if you have Facebook app or messenger installed (they might show you online/on mobile ) depending on app setting.

That's what I am asking how can u change status from facebook app, it can be done in fb messenger

you can not turn of chat on Facebook app (I believe it shows you online when you are in the app )

i change my status via the facebook mobile site in ie explorer...you can go to to chat and turn on/off chat,this is,i think,the best solution so far,also,when you change your status on desktop/laptop/tablet it has the same functionality like using the FB mobile site,hope that helps :smile:
