The notifications are sort of annoying me whenever I recieve a new text, I would like to limit the time they stay up on the screen, currently they seem to stay for 15 or so seconds and maybe longer if you have recieved multiple texts. Is there a way to change the settings so that you can reduce the pop-up time?

well... WP isn't exactly known for customizability, so it's a no.
You can dismiss the toast notifications by swiping from left to right though.
