How to get GDR3 on my Lumia 625

Hey, so I just got my new Lumia 625 in the mail and can not seem to download or even find GDR3, I had this update on my HTC 8S and all I needed to do was look for the Update, I am still on the same Carrier, same contract just a new phone, is there anyway I can get it on my 625? Thanks! =3

Chances are that Nokia is holding it up since they want to ship their own Black update alongside GDR3. If you can wait, you'll get it eventually.

If you want GDR3 now (sans Black), you can get the preview, at the cost of your warranty. You'll still get the final GDR3 + Black update when it's properly released.

Amber/GDR2 was released in August-September for all Lumia Devices. At the moment, you can only buy the 1520 and 1320 with Black/GDR3.

So far only US's AT&T network has updated the 1020 and 925 to Black. The rest of phones and networks will update sometime in February.

You have to wait just a little more

Yes, Nokia's Amber (and Microsoft's GDR2 with it) are the latest updates for most (but not all) Lumias. If you'd like to add GDR3 you can, through the Preview for Developers Program. You'll get the latest update from Microsoft, but you'll still have to wait until your carrier approves GDR3/Black before you can get the Black update from Nokia.
