How to get rid of Phantom/Ghost Touch

Windows Central Question

I have been having the ghost touch for a while and ive tried to fix it and it doesnt do anything. and i was wondering if there is a way to so it because this is just plain stupid...

And be more than happy for a responce.

I had a 1520 and I dropped it. Then it started having phantom touch issues. I ended up giving the phone to a friend because of it, but, he hard reset it, and it worked fine ever since. Did you try a hard reset to see if it is software or hardware related?
