How to install new app in SD card

Hi,

I have Nokia Lumia 820. Just wondering is there any way to store/install new apps or games to my SD card. Because I have reached my phone storage limit. However I found that there is an option to download new music/photos/videos to SD card. Is there any similar settings available for apps too.

To answer it in 1 word - "no"

You can download and place the .xap file in your SD card but the game installs to phone memory.

One more thing I wanted to know is that, when I checked storage check of my phone I found that it was showing 1.4 GB in others. What is this others category. Is there a way clear this memory.

that's basically it, the GDR 2 update will help you clear that other horror house.

With GDR 2 around the corner, I won't recommend it.

With GDR 2 update there is a way to clear temporary files. That clears up ~250-300 MB. But I am still not able to clear OTHER storage.
